The 5 week Adult Ceramic class is designed to give those who are interested in exploring clay a chance to learn the basics in hand building and or the potters wheel. This 5 week series is really about you and what you want to learn. If you just want to focus on the potters wheel, throwing. trimming, and glazing you can do that. If you have dreams of building cool pieces you see on
Pinterest you can do that too! The Clay Lab is here to guide and give you solid instruction on the basics of ceramics.
If you have some experience and you just want to grow your skills, we are here to support you at any stage of your ceramic journey!

This 5 week series is intended to run consecutively but if you have to miss a class no problem, your class can just be pushed forward to the following week. Students can start whenever there is a spot available. If you are not able to come to class 5 weeks in a row and would like to come when you are available that is fine but you will be subject to availability. This mostly affects the potters wheel since the studio only has 4. If you just want to hand build there is usually always a spot during any class for hand building.

During your session you will use weeks 1-3 to make on the potters wheel or hand build. Week 4 is reserved for trimming and finishing up any hand built work. Week 5 is reserved for glazing.

Can I do more than on session? YES you can, you can continue as long as you like, we would love to have you and guide you through your ceramic journey. Those who would like to continue can select the 5 week subscription, that renews automatically.

Do you have Memberships? No, at this time we do not offer studio membership. We are a small studio and are not set up at this time for members.

The adult class is reserved for students 16 and up. If in middle school or early high school students may join if accompanied by an adult.

Payment/Cancellation Policy: Full payment is due upon booking of classes to reserve your spot. Payment is NON REFUNDABLE. A 24 hour notice is required for rescheduling classes. Classes that have been missed with a 24 hour noticed can be credited and rescheduled for future dates and times that are available. Credits toward future classes must be rescheduled with in 30 days of original booking.
